Services

Below you can see what we do for businesses in the Netherlands and abroad. Is your question not listed? Email or call us. You will hear straight away whether we can help.

  • You have one regular adviser. So you do not have to explain your situation again and again.
  • With every piece of advice we note where it is in the law. You can show that if the tax authorities ask.
  • You know the cost up front.

VAT compliance

International VAT & e-commerce

Once you have customers in several countries, VAT quickly gets complicated. We work out where you owe VAT, where you need to register and what you can handle through the OSS.

  • Your VAT per country
  • One Stop Shop (OSS)
  • Distance selling
More about international VAT & e-commerce

For example

Your webshop ships to customers in several EU countries

You hold stock in another country (fulfilment, marketplace)

You receive a letter from a foreign tax authority

VAT compliance

OSS return

Do you sell to private customers in other EU countries? Then you declare that turnover through the OSS, the One Stop Shop. This works per country, at that country's VAT rate. We file the return and keep track of the rates for you.

  • Registering for the OSS
  • The quarterly return
  • The rate per country
More about OSS return

For example

You sell through a webshop to private customers in several EU countries

You go over the EUR 10,000 threshold, or are close to it

You do not know which rate to charge in which country

VAT compliance

One-off VAT return

Sometimes one quarter gets left behind, or one return is too tricky. Then we file that one return for you, with the same checks as for our regular clients.

  • A return for one period
  • Clearing a backlog
  • Check first, then file
More about one-off VAT return

For example

You cannot work out this period yourself

You are behind on one or more returns

You received a penalty or a reminder

VAT compliance

Customs & import

Customs directly affects your cost price. A wrong commodity code or origin costs money now, and can still lead to an assessment years later. We look at everything involved: the contract, the invoice and the declaration.

  • Commodity code
  • Origin
  • Customs value
More about customs & import

For example

You import goods and pay VAT at customs

You doubt the commodity code, or your supplier uses a different one

You face an audit or a payment demand

Corporate tax

Tax advisory

You get a clear answer to your question, without a long list of caveats. We add the reasoning, so you have it ready if the tax authorities ask.

  • Legal form
  • Reliefs for entrepreneurs
  • The director and the BV
More about tax advisory

For example

You are unsure whether a BV (Dutch private limited company) is cheaper than your sole trader business

You want to know what you can and cannot deduct

You are starting something new and want to know the tax effect first

Corporate tax

Accounting & compliance

You do not have to buy or learn any software. Scan your receipts in the app, or send us everything you have once a quarter, in any form. We turn it into books that add up.

  • Through the app or by email
  • Once a quarter
  • We process it
More about accounting & compliance

For example

You never get round to your own records

You do not want to buy and learn accounting software

You have a folder of receipts and a deadline

07 / 11

Corporate tax

Tax returns

We file your VAT, income tax and corporate income tax returns. We check that they match your books. If something does not add up, you hear about it before the return is filed.

  • VAT return per period
  • Income tax return
  • Corporate income tax return
More about tax returns

For example

You file yourself and want to be sure it is right

There is a difference between your books and what you declared

Corporate tax

Annual accounts & filing

The annual accounts are the basis for the corporate income tax return. The Chamber of Commerce needs them too. We prepare them and make sure they reach the Chamber of Commerce on time.

  • Preparing the annual accounts
  • Filing documents
  • Filing on time
More about annual accounts & filing

For example

You have a BV and the accounts must be filed

You are late filing for an earlier year

Payroll & mobility

Payroll, 30% ruling & A1

Employees who live or work in the Netherlands can bring Dutch payroll taxes, even without a Dutch entity. We register you as an employer, run the Dutch payroll, apply for the 30% ruling and check which country's social security applies.

  • Registration as an employer
  • Monthly payroll returns
  • 30% ruling and A1 certificate
More about payroll, 30% ruling & A1

For example

You hire your first employee in the Netherlands without a Dutch entity

You recruit someone from abroad and want the 30% ruling

Your staff work in the Netherlands and another EU country

Transfer pricing

Intercompany pricing

Every charge between your Dutch BV and another group company must be priced as between independent parties, and the BV must be able to show how the price was set. We document management fees, cost recharges and intercompany loans in a memo at a fixed fee.

  • Arm's length review
  • Transfer pricing memo
  • Master file and local file
More about intercompany pricing

For example

Your Dutch BV pays a management fee to the parent company

The group recharges costs to the Dutch BV

There is a loan between the BV and another group company

Tax controversy

Audits, objections & rulings

In an audit or assessment, a good file from the start matters. We talk to the inspector, build the file and go to objection or appeal where needed.

  • Response to an assessment
  • Objection and appeal
