A letter from the Dutch tax authorities? We explain it in English
Letters from the Dutch tax authorities are written in Dutch, and the deadlines are short. Send us the letter. Within one working day you know what it is, what the deadline is and what we advise.
One letter, one fixed fee
We read the letter, explain it in plain English and tell you what to do and by when. Do you want us to act on it? You get a fixed quote first.

How it works
Send the letter
Scan or photograph every page and send it by email, or describe the letter in the form below.
Within one working day
You receive our explanation in English: what the letter is, the deadline and our advice.
If action is needed
An objection, a return or a payment arrangement: you get a fixed quote before we start.
Letters foreign businesses often receive
- An additional assessment (naheffingsaanslag): the Dutch tax authorities claim VAT that, in their view, was not paid or not paid in full
- A penalty (boete) for a late or missing return, or for a late payment
- A request for information: you are obliged to give the information the inspector asks for
- A decision on your VAT registration or on a refund request
- A reminder to file a return or to pay
Deadlines are short
An objection to an assessment must be filed within six weeks, counted from the day after the date on the assessment. Send us the letter as soon as it arrives, not when the deadline is close.
